Appliance or laundry leak
Water may run beneath cabinets, flooring and wall bases. We check the connected areas before setting a drying boundary.
North Houston service area
Water can remain beneath a finished floor or inside a wall after the surface looks dry. Renova checks measured conditions in Spring properties and explains whether targeted drying, material access or reconstruction is appropriate.

Start with the loss
The floor covering, subfloor, installation and source of water all matter. We assess the edge of the affected area and adjoining rooms so equipment and material decisions reflect the assembly, not just the surface appearance.
Do not lift flooring or remove baseboards without understanding the water source and affected materials. Keep photos of any visible changes, including buckling, swelling or darkened seams, and tell us when they appeared.
How Renova handles water damage →What we assess
Water may run beneath cabinets, flooring and wall bases. We check the connected areas before setting a drying boundary.
Targeted systems can be considered for some assemblies; contamination or material damage may call for removal instead.
After drying, a separate scope can cover floor replacement, baseboards, paint and other damaged finishes.
Materials and moisture
Specialty floor drying is not suitable for every loss. Renova considers the material, water category, duration and measured progress, then explains when access or replacement is the more appropriate route.
Learn about structural drying →Clear records
For Spring floor and wall losses, a record of material types, readings over time and the final drying decision supports a clearer repair scope. The goal is to avoid guessing from appearance alone.
Renova can share job-site photos, moisture readings, equipment records and authorized scopes for claim review. Your carrier determines policy coverage.
